A Lanarkshire family's world has been torn apart after dad-of-two Ian Cook died following a fatal heart attack in the back of a taxi.
His Hamilton family have remembered him in a touching tribute to the 52-year-old husband, dad and papa who died unexpectedly.
Ian was was making his way to Eddlewood Bowling Club on Monday, March 6, when his health took a turn for the worse, Lanarkshire Live reports.

Two nurses from nearby the Udston Hospital stopped and started CPR but tragically Ian could not be saved.
Daughter Kirsty, 27, told Lanarkshire Live : “He was a well known and loved member of the community who would do anything for anyone, even if he did moan a bit in the process.
“My dad just knew everyone. He loved his family and the bowling club was his other big thing.
“He was a committee member at Eddlewood. He went up to watch the football or just have a pint with his friends and brother.
“Away from the bowling club, dad was loved building things. Just before lockdown he built himself a mancave with his pool table in there.
“He was so chuffed with it and had the table cloth in blue rather than green as his favourite team was Rangers.”
Ian was devoted to his partner of 30 years, Liz, as well as daughters Vikki and Kirsty and grandkids Scott and Jack.
Tributes have been left at the bowling club as mark of respect.
“It’s been a really tough few days,” said Kirsty.
“We had to have our dog Gem put to sleep on Sunday who my dad loved and then he passed away the following day.
“He was in a taxi and he had a massive attack. We have been told it was quick, it was like someone flicked a switch and he was away.
“The family would like to thank his taxi driver, Penny, who responded quickly by calling for help. She actually ran into the club and some of the members in there ran out and began CPR prior to the Udston nurses showed up.
A fundraising page has been set up to help the family towards the cost of Ian’s funeral which will be held on Thursday, March 30, at 1pm at South Lanarkshire Crematorium and then onwards to Eddlewood Bowling Club.
Kirsty and the rest of the family have been blown away with the number of messages of love and support since Ian’s death.
She added: “We, as a family, can’t thank everyone enough for all the cards, donations, messages and phone calls.
"It has been a massive shock to us all but we’ve been supported every step of the way so far which has been a huge help.
“We raised £1200 in 24 hours which is honestly unthinkable and has taken a weight off our mum’s shoulders which we can’t thank everyone enough for.
“We have had messages from people who my dad went to school with and he hadn’t seen for 20 or 30 years saying how sorry they were and what a great guy he was and that has been nice to hear.”
