East Kilbride actor Mark Bonnar has asked fans to shower his actress wife with well wishes - as a birthday surprise while he isolates with COVID.

The Line of Duty star could not spend his wife Lucy Gaskell's birthday with her as he had tested positive for the virus.

The actress, who starred in Doctor Who, Casualty and Holby City celebrated her 42nd birthday on Sunday.
