Lanark Amateur Swimming Club had three swimmers reach finals at the Glasgow International Swim Meet, taking a first place and breaking an 11-year-old club record.
Eight swimmers from the club took part in the event, held at Tollcross International Swimming Centre.
Three swimmers reached junior finals, in 16 and under for girls, and 16 and under for boys.
Evi Mackie, 13, was first in the 200m butterfly in 2.36.56 and teammate Abbie Barnstaple was sixth in 2.46.59.
In the boys’ junior 50m butterfly final Cameron Bruce was seventh in a time of 27.71 seconds.
Bruce and Mackie also reached ‘B’ finals in senior events, setting personal bests, Evi in the 200m breaststroke and Cameron in the 200m butterfly.
Evi also set a new club record in the 50m butterfly (31.58), smashing Victoria Gourlay’s record, which had stood for 11 years.
Katie Towers, Caitlyn Hamilton, Benji Jones and Euan McLeod all posted PBs.
Coach Karen Kelly said: “The meet attracted teams from all corners of the British Isles and national teams from Denmark and Iceland.
“It was great to see swimmers from Lanark reach finals in that kind of company.”
