Lana Del Rey has proved she’s a chaos queen in the best way by debuting her new relationship with an alligator tour guide. Yep, she went deep into the swamp to find her latest beau!
A TikToker shared a clip of Lana holding hands with Jeremy Dufrene before she played a set at the Leeds Festival in the UK. According to Daily Mail, the pair were also spotted hanging out at a local pub and shopping in Harrods.
And thanks to the r/lanadelrey subreddit, super sleuths have shared photos of their outings! I love the internet.
So who exactly is Lana Del Rey’s rumoured new boyfriend?
Dufrene works as a tour guide for Airboat Tours By Arthur in Des Allemands, Louisiana and had Lana on his boat back in 2019.
At the time, she shared a few photos on Facebook with Jeremy and her friends, writing: “Jeremy lemme be captain at Arthur’s Air Boat Tours x”.
The alligator tour obviously had a lasting impression on our girl Lana, because she went back in May 2024 for more. She shared a snap on Instagram, referring to Jeremy as “my guy” in the caption. Soft launch???

After snooping around on Facebook, I discovered Jeremy is a father of two. And folks, this leads me to the wildest part of this entire story.
X user finds out their dad is dating Lana Del Rey
Now, please take this all with a grain of salt — or the whole damn salt shaker if you will — but there’s a X (formerly Twitter) user who claims Jeremy is their dad. Aaaand they only found out about his new relationship with Lana ON X. I’m dead.
After a Lana fan account asked for thoughts on Lana’s new boyfriend, Xae (@strnrtn) replied, saying: “WHAT THE FUCK THAT’S MY DAD?????”
In a thread, they documented their step-by-step thoughts as they (and their family) supposedly found out.
After yelling at their dad over text, saying: “IS THERE ANYTHING YOU WANT TO TELL ME? LANA DEL FUCKING REY????? YOU JUST LEFT MOM A FEW WEEKS AGO??????? IS THIS WHY??? WHAT THE FUCK DAD?”, he replied in the most nonchalant way.

Xae told followers that their dad then messaged their family group chat asking how they found out.
“He doesn’t understand social media I’m in tears. This is not fucking real. Everyone is fighting. My mom is threatening to sue him. I can’t believe this is happening right now,” they wrote.
“I’m actually so confused. Our family group chat is going insane right now. We literally had NO IDEA THIS WAS HAPPENING.
“I truly wish this was a joke. He left my mom officially a few weeks ago and said he was moving on to something bigger. Clearly he has.”
Xae went on to say they don’t have a great relationship with their father and barely speak.
“In regards to my dad and Lana from my last few tweets. If there’s any type of update, I’ll give it but for now, I’ve got nothing to give. I barely talk to my dad let alone care about his love life. I’m just shocked WHO he’s dating.”

The X user usually tweets about Ariana Grande, so talking about Lana Del Rey is a bit left field for them, making me think there *could* be a possibility of truth? There’s no identifying info on their account, though, so it’s hard to tell.
A bunch of people have accused Xae of lying, to which they replied: “No I would never lie about something so serious.”
Since a certain billionaire’s takeover, X has become a cesspool of content farms and rage-bait posts, as those with a blue tick make money from engagement. However, Xae doesn’t have a blue tick so won’t be raking in the $$ from the Lana tweets. They could be looking for clout — and considering one of their quote tweets has been seen over 30 million times, it’s safe to say everyone’s eyes are on them.
After looking at Jeremy’s Facebook page, he posted a tribute to his two daughters in September 2023 for National Daughter’s Day. Both of his daughters replied and said they “loved him”. This doesn’t match up to Xae’s claims that they’re not close to their dad, but lots of things can change in a year.
Either way, it’s a truly wild story. Again, I love the internet.
