Lana Del Rey has thrilled fans with news of a last-minute gig in Dublin - but only gave them ten days’ notice to find tickets.
Today, the singer announced she would perform a surprise show in Dublin’s 3Arena on July 7. The news come after her mic cut off while performing at Glastonbury this weekend.
Lana may be trying to make amends after she was 30 minutes late to her set at Worthy Farm because her hair wasn’t finished. Organisers at Worthy Farm were forced to cut her off mid-set as they did not have permission to carry on having live music on the main stages past midnight.
In addition to the Dublin date, Lana has also added extra shows in Paris and Amsterdam.
She said: “I love Europe and after playing Glastonbury, have decided to play a few more shows in various countries around my Hyde Park Show in London on July 9th. Today I am announcing shows in Amsterdam on July 4th, Dublin on July 7th and Paris on July 10th. I look forward to seeing you all.”
Tickets for the 3Arena gig are priced from €69.70 (£59.93) and go on sale this Friday, June 30, at 9am from Ticketmaster here.
Lana seemed to have left fans disappointed when she was late to her set on Sunday. Festivalgoers queued eagerly before her set to get a good spot. She was due to start at 10.30pm, but did not step out until around 11pm.
Telling her fans at the Other Stage about her wardrobe malfunctions, she said: “I’m so f**ing late they may cut my set. I’m sorry, my hair takes so long. If they cut the power, let’s keep going.”
She stepped down from the stage and tried to sing to the crowd without her mic but was forced to call it quits.
