Lamar Scott, drill rapper son of Dillian Whyte's boxing promoter, shot dead in Brixton

The son of a boxing promoter who represents Dillian Whyte has become the latest in a string of drill rappers to die in violent attacks in London. Lamar Scott, known as Perm, was shot after a car chase in Brixton on Sunday.

The 27-year-old's father Dean Whyte represents Dillian Whyte (no relation) - the heavyweight boxer who lost his bid for Tyson Fury’s WBC heavyweight title in April. Following his son's death, Dean posted on Instagram: "RIP my boy, daddy loves you."

Dillian Whyte re-shared his promoter's post on his own feed accompanied by broken heart emojis. Deliveroo driver Guilherme Messias da Silva, 21, was knocked off his moped as he was making his last delivery of the day.
