Lamar Odom has been opening up about the death of his late child during his stint on Celebrity Big Brother.
The star told his fellow celebrity housemates he believes he'll see his late son "in an afterlife" during an emotional conservation.
The former basketball star's son Jayden died from Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) in 2006 when he was just 6 months old.
During Monday night's episode of the star-studded reality TV show, Khloe Kardashian 's ex-husband, 42, shared with his housemates that he saw his late son in a dream.
Speaking with Cynthia Bailey and Todd Bridges, Lamar said: "I think I need to cry. I dreamt [about] my son last night, the one that passed away. He was talking.
"You know what that's from, though? I didn't get to grieve properly, I don't think, when my son passed away."
The former Los Angeles Lakers continued: "He kept saying, 'Snatch the rainbow, Daddy.' When he passed away, he couldn't talk. He could just talk with his eyes."
In the emotional episode, Lamar discussed the incredible bond he and his late son shared prior to his death in 2006.
"Even at 6 months old I was saying that we had a really great relationship because whenever I would come into the room his eyes would just follow me wherever I went until I picked him up," the former sports star explained.
"He was a really special baby; 2006 would've made him, right now, I think 15 or 14 years old. There's just something I don't think I'd ever get over. But him coming to me in a dream lets me know that he's not too far away. And I know I'll see him in an afterlife."
Todd - who played Willis Jackson on Diff'rent Strokes - was clearly moved by Lamar's discussion about his unimaginable grief.
"Hearing Lamar that he lost a kid has to be the biggest thing that someone has to deal with, and my heart goes out to Lamar because he's dealt with so much stuff," the actor confessed after the former Keeping Up with the Kardashians' admission.
Lamar opened up about the death of Jayden in heartbreaking detail last year.
The reality TV star - who is father to two other children with ex-girlfriend Liza Morales - discussed how losing his son at the height of his career impacted his life.
"That was extremely hard because, you know, I was playing [basketball]," the retired NBA star recalled on YouTube documentary, Lamar Odom: Reborn.
"He was extra energetic. Whenever I would walk into the room he would just stare at me. He was beautiful. He was like the combination of his sister and his brother. I just wish I would've had him in my life a little longer."
"You know what's crazy? I don't even think I still have even sat down and cried about it," Lamar added when speaking in the May premiere of his documentary.
