Lamar Jackson may not have won the AP MVP award in his back-to-back years, but he’s still in the running after a near-perfect performance on Sunday afternoon.
In his first game since a Week 13 loss to the Eagles, Jackson was 21-25 passing for 290 yards, five touchdowns, 0 interceptions, and a 154.6 quarterback rating.
Even more impressive, Jackson had more touchdown passes (5) than incompletions (4) on the afternoon. Looking to take his mother’s advice, Jackson six times for 65 yards (10.8 avg) in the afternoon, as Baltimore moved to 9-5 in the season and set up a gigantic Week 16 matchup at home against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The Ravens’ much-maligned defense continued to improve and held the battered Giants offense to 236 yards on offense and 2-12 on third downs.
