NEW DELHI: Asian Games silver medallist Lakshay Sheoran clinched the bronze medal in men's trap at the Asian Olympic Qualifiers for shotgun in Kuwait City. However, despite his strong performance, Sheoran narrowly missed securing one of the two available quota places for the Paris 2024 Olympics.
Sheoran, who led the 50-shot final for most of the competition, finished in third place. The gold medal was won by 15-year-old Iranian shooter Mohammad Beyranvand, who also secured the first quota place.
