The Los Angeles Lakers visit the New York Knicks on Saturday, and if you’re wondering how you can watch the action live, you’ve come to the right place.
Early this week, the Lakers (25-25) got blown out on back-to-back nights by the Houston Rockets and Atlanta Hawks, causing a good deal of concern. Yet even with LeBron James and Anthony Davis sitting out, they were able to somehow defeat the Boston Celtics, who have the NBA’s best record, 114-105.
However, the victory came at a significant cost. Forward Jarred Vanderbilt, who has been a major spark plug for L.A., sustained a right foot injury late in the first half and didn’t return. While X-rays were negative, the team reportedly expects him to miss several weeks of action.
New York is riding a nine-game winning streak and is the hottest team in basketball right now. It has risen to a 32-17 record and third place in the Eastern Conference even though All-Star forward Julius Randle has missed its last three contests.
Fellow All-Star Jalen Brunson has been on a heater lately, as he’s averaging 32.6 points in his last nine games.
These two teams met at Crypto.com Arena on Dec. 18 with New York winning 114-109.
