A Lakeland customer has said she'll "never put the central heating on again" after trying a device that costs 1p a night to run.
MEN reporter Rachel Pugh said the item "got me warm and toasty in seconds, and was far more efficient than a heater or electric blanket". It comes as many people try to find more cost-effective ways of keeping warm and comfortable amid soaring energy prices.
Rachel explained: "Unfortunately, due to the cost of living crisis, last March I was forced to move into a flat with a pre-payment meter. In all honestly, it's an absolute nightmare, and to be frank with you, it's scary.
