Lake Macquarie housing logjam: thousands of homes stuck in pipeline

Lake Mac Lake Macquarie

Lake Macquarie City Council has confirmed there are about 5000 housing lots approved throughout the local government area awaiting construction to begin.

The biggest concentration of approved lots is in the north-western suburb of Cameron Park, where the council has approved 1700 lots within the Link Road North and Link Road South sites.
