US President Donald Trump appears to be intensifying his efforts to shift attention away from the Iran war and economic pressures as Republicans head into a difficult midterm election season in November.
Trump has in recent weeks turned to a series of headline-grabbing subjects, from his proposal to rename Lake Ontario to renewed talk of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and posts about changes at the White House.
