A reformed gangster who spent nearly 20 years behind bars has opened up about how he befriended infamous lag Charles Bronson while imprisoned in the high security facility.
Stephen Gillen was incarcerated in over 25 different prisons during his time in the penal system, becoming one the UK's most notorious convicts.
In that time, Stephen eventually came across well-known prison hard man Bronson, reputed to be the most violent prisoner in the UK, the Daily Star reports.
