Will Ferrell has revealed whether or not he's a Chelsea supporter after years of speculation. The Hollywood star has visited Stamford Bridge on a number of occasions in recent years and he's often been pictured donning a Blues shirt.
Ferrell was seen posing alongside John Terry ahead of the west Londoners' pre-season friendly against Inter Milan in 2009, at the Rose Bowl stadium in California while wearing the 2004/05 Chelsea home shirt. Then, in July 2012, he and fellow actor Zach Galifianakis met the Blues squad at a hotel in Seattle where they were pictured holding personalised jerseys.
In return, Ferrell and Galifianakis swapped a signed St Louis Rams helmet — an American football team based in Missouri — with Frank Lampard and Petr Cech. They also posed for pictures with the Champions League trophy.

The actor has also jokingly accepted responsibility for the second sacking of Jose Mourinho at Chelsea. In September 2016, Ferrell joked about the Portuguese boss' defensive tactics at the GQ Men of the Year Awards — three months later former Blues owner Roman Abramovich sacked Mourinho.
"I feel like I had a hand in getting Jose Mourinho fired," Ferrell said. "I made a joke at the GQ awards in London where Mourinho was receiving some sort of special award... and I made a crack like: 'I love your style, seven men in the box, defensive soccer, keep it going.' And then next thing you know [he's fired], I'm so sorry."
A year later, Ferrell joined John C. Reilly at Stamford Bridge to see Chelsea versus Arsenal. They were in London for Etan Cohen’s take on the Sherlock Holmes series, Holmes and Watson.
It's said that filming had taken place in Greenwich, ahead of release in 2018. As Ferrell congratulated the Blues on their win over the Gunners, the actor had a picture with Eden Hazard in the changing rooms.
But, despite Ferrell's rich history with Chelsea, the co-owner of LAFC insisted that he's not a supporter of the west Londoners. In an interview with Sky Sports, he said: "I watch a fair amount [of football].
"I have to say I don't really have a side over here, I just enjoy following all the storylines and it's obviously a very good league. I'm going to go out on a limb and say there's some really good teams and players here."
Ferrell was earlier spotted in a pub enjoying a drink with Wrexham fans. The National League side are owned by fellow Hollywood stars Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney.
