Lady Gaga teases 'there's a LOT more to come' after being 'overwhelmed' by response to Disease

Lady Gaga has promised fans she is just getting started with her new pop era

Lady Gaga is "overwhelmed" by her Little Monsters’ reaction to her latest tune ‘Disease’.

The 38-year-old pop superstar feels “insane joy” about her fandom’s response to her electro-pop banger - which is the lead single from her hotly anticipated seventh studio album - and teased that there is "a LOT more to come".

She gushed on Instagram alongside a selfie of her smiling with her eyes closed: "I honestly am trying to find the right words to say - I have been so excited to release my new music and to see all the monsters come alive and dance and perform and smile and cry is such an insane joy. I'm so grateful and overwhelmed at your love for Disease. Keep dancing. There's a LOT more to come. I haven't seen our community like this in a very long time. Thank you for coming on this ride w me all these years and still showing up for the music also...happy Halloween (sic)"

The follow-up to 2020’s ‘Chromatica’ LP is expected to arrive in February.

Meanwhile, it was recently claimed that Gaga has decided to delay her world tour until 2026.

Due to huge names, including Oasis and Coldplay, booking up multiple dates at stadiums across the UK, there are said to be no spaces available for Gaga - whose last tour was the 'Chromatica Ball' in 2022 - forcing her to push back the run by a year.

An insider told The Sun newspaper's Bizarre column: “Lady Gaga is planning the biggest tour of her career — but it will have to wait.

“She sold out two nights at London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium during her 20-date Chromatica Ball tour in 2022 and the demand was so huge, she wants to push the boat out even more this time.

“Her next album will be out in the new year and she hoped to spend much of the summer on tour.

“But acts like Oasis and Coldplay have thwarted it.

“She has been told there’s no room at the inn, so she will have to make do with touring in 2026 instead.

“That won’t be music to the ears of her fans but at least it will give them time to save for tickets.”

Appearing on the 'Smallzy's Surgery' podcast recently, Gaga teased she was planning some concerts.

She said: "All I can tell you is that I've just been feeling so creative, and really connected to music and I've been working on so much music. I'm really excited to play it for the fans."

'Disease' follows Gaga's hit collaboration with Bruno Mars, 'Die With A Smile', and her starring role as Harleen “Lee” Quinzel in 'Joker: Folie à Deux' alongside Joaquin Phoenix (Joker/Arthur Fleck) and her companion album, 'Harlequin'.
