LABOUR’S military spending spree is expected to squeeze Scotland’s budget as living standards are set to virtually stagnate, experts have warned.

Westminster’s defence splurge is likely to reduce Holyrood’s capital block grant, according to the Scottish Fiscal Commission which has also set out a bleak outlook for Scots struggling with the cost of living.
