The Commonwealth Games is not on BBC. Here's why Westminster is to blame.

UK MINISTERS are being urged to ensure the Commonwealth Games is protected on free-to-air TV following criticism over the event only being broadcast live on a subscription service .

Live coverage of the Commonwealth Games from Glasgow is exclusive to TNT Sports after the Warner Bros Discovery-owned channel outbid the BBC, which has until now shown every edition of the Games since 1954.
