Labour U-turns on farmer inheritance tax after tractor protests

Labour has u-turned on inheritance tax proposals for farmers following major protests and backlash from rural communities.

Ministers on Tuesday announced watered down plans for an inheritance tax increase for farmers, raising the threshold to 100 per cent relief from £1 million to £2.5 million.
