Labour say Business Secretary Kwasi Kwarteng should resign for downplaying fraud

Business Secretary Kwasi Kwarteng faced calls to resign on Thursday after he was accused of downgrading fraud when compared to other crimes.

The Government has been under pressure for its record on tackling fraud since Treasury Minister Lord Agnew dramatically quit two weeks ago accusing the Government of having “little interest in the consequences of fraud to our society”.
