The Labour Party is heading to Liverpool for its annual conference, which begins next Sunday.
While many events and public gatherings have been cancelled or postponed following the death of Queen Elizabeth II, it has been confirmed that the Labour Party's showpiece event will take place in Liverpool. The event will take place at the city's Arena and Convention Centre from Sunday, September 25 to Wednesday September 28.
The event is a big one for Labour, who say they will head to Liverpool on an election footing. Labour remains solidly ahead of the Conservatives in the polls, but will be assessing what the impact of the arrival of Liz Truss as Prime Minister has had.

Ahead of the event, a full schedule for the conference has now been revealed. This includes when the major speeches by key party figures will take place. Here is a quick run down of the main schedule.
Sunday September 25
The conference begins in earnest on the Sunday and the highlight here will be a speech by Deputy Leader Angela Rayner at 11:25am. This will be followed by a meeting to discuss party reports, before a discussion on 'winning the General Election' takes place from 1.30pm. The afternoon will see a session discussing and debating and constitutional amendments, followed by votes on these at 3pm.
Monday September 26
On the Monday of the conference, there will be a morning session from 10:20am on Better Jobs and Better Work. The big event of the day will be a speech by Shadow Chancellor Rachel Reeves. She will speak in the main hall from midday until around 12:35am.
This speech will be followed by more votes, then an afternoon discussion around Safe and Secure Communities, with further votes at 5.40pm.
Tuesday September 27
The third day of the conference is the day of the leader's speech. First up there will be a morning session on Britain in the World and A Green and Digital Future.
After this, Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer will take to the stage in the main hall from 2pm, for one of the biggest moments of the whole event. There will be major pressure on Sir Keir to successfully pitch himself as a Prime Minister in waiting.
The leader's speech will be followed by a session labelled A Future Where Families Come First, followed by more votes at 5.20pm.
Wednesday September 28
The final day of conference is a short and comparatively uneventful one. A morning session on Public Services that Work from the Start will take place from 9:55am and is the only main event. The conference will conclude at midday.
