LABOUR’s lead over the SNP has fallen leaving the two party’s level according to the latest General Election poll by Savanta UK.
Just one month ago Labour made all the headlines with polls predicting them to rout the SNP in Scotland come July 4, reducing the party to as few as 11 seats.
However, Savanta UK’s poll shows the two parties are now level with polling just one week away.
The poll shows both parties at 34% with Labour dropping by 4% and the SNP gaining 1%.
The Tories have fallen further behind, losing another 1%, as their total slips to 14%.
The LibDems have made no change.
Others have risen from 7% to 10% as parties like the Scottish Greens and Reform seem to have gathered more steam in Scotland.
The poll was conducted between June 21 to 26 and compares the data against polling conducted from June 14-18.
