Kym Marsh has revealed her sweet tattoo in tribute to her dad after his incurable cancer diagnosis.
The actress, 47, surprised her father Dave with the touching ink for Father's Day.
Kym shared a snap of her tattoo of an ice cream alongside the very sweet meaning as to why she got it.
The former Coronation Street star took to Instagram to share a clip of the reveal.
In the video, Kym is talking to her dad as she says: "Because I never normally treat myself to anything on my birthday, I thought what would mean more to me than anything in the world.
"So, I decided to give myself a little reminder of you."
Her dad asked: "Of me?"
As Kym reveals her ink, she said: "Are you ready?"
She then went over to her father, who beamed at the surprise tribute.
He joked about the ice cream :"Mine aren't as good as them!"
"How good is that?," Kym added.
In her caption Kym wrote: " So…..I’ve had a new tattoo for my dad!!! Since his incurable cancer diagnosis he has been obsessed with ice cream!
"He literally has one every day! So I got an ice cream on the inside of my fore arm for him to remind me of my wonderful dad, Every time I look at it!! He’s the best ever! Love you dad."
Dave was diagnosed with incurable prostate cancer after delaying getting a check-up during the pandemic.
In June of 2021, the cancer spread to his pelvis, spine, ribs and left leg.
"My biggest hope is the treatment keeps working and gives me more time with my family. I want to be fit and well enough to walk Kym down the aisle after she recently got engaged," he told The Sun at the time.
Kym and soldier Scott Ratcliff wed in October 2021 at a star-studded bash, with dad Dave getting his wish of walking her down the isle.
Scott is Kym's third husband after she previously tied the knot with actor Jack Ryder in 2002 and former Hollyoaks star Jamie Lomas ten years later.
But it was all over after just over a year-and-a-half as the actress announced the speculation is true last month.
Breaking her silence on her personal life, Kym quipped: "It's just experience."
The pair wed at Sandhurst military academy in front of friends and family plus guests included telly star Carol Vorderman. Her former Corrie co-star Antony Cotton acted Master of Ceremonies.
Kym’s children David, Emilie and Polly all attended - with Scott’s daughter Renee on the top table.
