Kym Marsh becomes latest celebrity axed from Strictly Come Dancing days after Covid battle

Kym Marsh has become the tenth celebrity booted off Strictly Come Dancing after battling Molly Rainford in the dance-off. The Coronation Street star faced the axe alongside her professional partner Graziano Di Prima after an intense dance-off with the CBBC star and pro Carlos Gu.

Kym has left the show just one week after she made her return to the BBC One ballroom floor following a bout of coronavirus. The 46-year-old and Graziano performed their Cha Cha to Fame - from the musical of the same name, while Molly and Carlos danced the Charleston to Hot Honey Rag from the musical Chicago.

The two couples took to the dancefloor once again to perform in the dreaded dance-off in the hopes of impressing judges Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Anton Du Beke and Shirley Ballas. After the performances, it was up to judges to decide who would continue into the next round of the BBC show in the hopes of raising the Glitterball trophy.
