Kylie Jenner has been slammed for her "tasteless" and "tone deaf" Astroworld Festival themed birthday bashes for her daughter Stormi and son Aire.
Kylie went all out to celebrate her daughter turning five and her son turning one this week – and decorated her mansion to mark the occasion, which included unique decorations very similar to those seen at Astroworld.
Tragedy struck at Travis' festival Astroworld in 2021 – where 10 people died following a stampede. Now, fans are accusing the makeup mogul of being "insensitive" towards the incident's victims.
The cosmetics company founder has previously held the themed parties for Stormi, who turned five earlier this week, but hadn't since the devastating ordeal.
But the Astroworld-inspired theme made a return as Kylie's daughter turned five earlier this week.
Instagram snaps from this week's parties show some of the decor in the same style from Astroworld, which has caused offence.
Photos see the celebrations for Stormi turning five and Aire turning one with massive inflatable heads – in the same style of the giant head of Travis at the gates of the event where the disaster took place.
And now fans have taken to social media to slam Kylie's choice of party theme for her children.
"Isn’t this tasteless after the Astroworld tragedy … where children died," one Reddit user complained in a thread about the bash.
"CHILDREN died at Astroworld — only fitting that they would make it into another birthday party theme," fumed another. "So tone deaf."
Comments quickly spilled onto Twitter too, with one person saying: "kylie using astroworld branding for her children’s birthday party is a bit scary to me."
"Astroworld world’ tunnel? Wtf? Where’s the respect Kylie?" asked someone else. While a third penned: "The theme for Stormis party is extremely poor taste considering Astroworld."
Another Reddit user slammed: "Look I get Travis is the father of these kids but it is 2023, having an Astroworld themed party for your child’s fifth birthday is out of touch af.
"Especially when 10 people died at his concert one being a literal child.
"It was one thing the first couple of times Kylie went with this stormi world theme but I think after that concert tragedy she should have picked something else for the theme."
Posting to her Instagram Stories earlier this week, Kylie shared her colourful preparations, filming as she scattered her floor with balloons.
Hundreds could be seen across her sprawling mansion as she proceeded to show off her daughter's giant birthday cake, complete with love hearts and flowers.
Meanwhile, posts today show Kylie celebrating her son Aire turning one with a race-car inspired celebration, with car-shaped balloons and a pretend road heading into the inflatable head.
