Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet have firmly shut down break-up rumours by taking their relationship to the next level over the holiday season.
Any longtime Kardashian fan would know that the family’s matriarch, Kris Jenner, orders an over-the-top gingerbread house every Christmas that’s decorated with the names of her family members. The tradition began almost two decades ago, with Kris also sending handmade houses from Solvang Bakery to her own children each year.
For the very first time, Timothée has made the cut and had his name featured on the roof of Kris’ famous cookie mansion.
Kourtney Kardashian’s stepdaughter, Atiana De La Hoya, posted a photo of the decadent treat on her Instagram Story, revealing that Timothée’s name was written above Kylie’s and her two children’s, Stormi and Aire.
Is this just a publicity stunt?
While many fans are thrilled that the Dune star has truly cemented himself into the iconic family, others have questioned whether this is just a publicity stunt rather than a declaration of love.
Timothée’s latest film, Marty Supreme, hit cinemas in the US on Christmas Day following a bonkers publicity tour where he designed his own merch, stood on top of the Las Vegas Sphere and released a rap song. It’s no secret that Timmy’s gunning for his first Oscar win, so is a cameo on America’s most famous gingerbread house just another stunt in the lead-up to awards season?
“Timmy has another movie coming out, so he is putting the Kardashians to work plugging it for him. Time to get to work, Kylie,” one person commented.
“Publicity stunt, Kris is brilliant,” another shared, while a third said, “With Timothée, they have to keep up the PR.”
On the other hand, it could just be a simple way of shutting down split rumours after Timothée reportedly skipped Kris Jenner’s star-studded 70th birthday party last month.
I will point out, though, that if it is meant to be a publicity stunt, wouldn’t one of the KarJenners themselves have posted the photo instead of Travis Barker’s stepdaughter?
Fans spot another suss detail
Kris’ 2025 gingerbread house featured the names of almost every family member, including Kourtney, Travis, Kim, Khloe, Rob and their children and stepchildren.
Interestingly, Khloe’s baby daddy, Tristan Thompson, was also included, sparking speculation they’ve gotten back together as Kim and Kourtney’s respective exes, Kanye West and Scott Disick, were nowhere to be seen.
“Tristan is on the house, why not Travis Scott & Kanye? Timothée ain’t even a baby daddy,” a fan questioned.
“If they’re including the kids’ parents, then Blac Chyna, Travis, Scott, etc. should be on there too,” someone else said.
None of the KarJenners themselves have addressed the gingerbread house debacle, so let’s just hope the cameras were rolling for The Kardashians season eight.
In the meantime, we can look forward to another red carpet appearance from Kylie and Timothée at both the Critics’ Choice Awards and Golden Globe Awards in early January. Fingers crossed they wear matching outfits again.
