The Arizona Cardinals enter today’s matchup on the road against the Los Angeles Rams uncertain is quarterback Kyler Murray will be able to play. He suffered a hamstring injury in last week’s loss to the Seattle Seahawks and is officially questionable to play.
Buy Cardinals TicketsAccording to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, while Murray will work out before the game to see if he is able to play, but, as he is still “moving very gingerly,” it is viewed as unlikely he plays.
That would mean Colt McCoy, who started three games last season when Murray had an ankle sprain, should start in his place, getting his first action of 2022.
Cardinals coach Kliff Kingsbury said it would be a game-time decision as to whether Murray would play and it would come down to whether he is healthy enough to do what he does and whether he could avoid injuring the hamstring further.
