We have more information about the injury, his surgery and the timeline for his return.

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport said on NFL Gameday Sunday morning that Murray’s injury was a clean tear of the ACL. There was no other damage to any other ligaments but there was “associated damage” to his meniscus.

He will have surgery in a couple of weeks, probably after the new year, after having complete two to three weeks of “prehab.”

The timely for his recovery is about nine months, which will put his availability at the start of the 2023 season in doubt, something that was completely expected.
