Kyler Murray, Colt McCoy both dealing with injuries

The Arizona Cardinals have two quarterbacks who are dealing with injuries that could keep them out of their Week 11 game against the San Francisco 49ers Monday night in Mexico City. They hope and believe that one of them will be healthy enough to start.

“I’m hoping at least one of them (can play),” Kingsbury said Wednesday. “I think we should be able to get to that point hopefully by later in the week.”

Both players were listed as questionable on the Cardinals’ first injury report of the week on Thursday when they practiced with pads.

The Cardinals feel confident in McCoy if he has to start. The Cardinals beat the 49ers last season with McCoy playing and are 3-1 in four starts for McCoy over the last two seasons.

On Wednesday, Murray said he felt good but “we’ll see” if he will be able to play.

Murray tweaked his hamstring against the Vikings, aggravated it further against the Seahawks and missed last week’s game against the Rams.

McCoy injured his knee in his start against the Rams. He exited the game for two snaps but did return to finish the game.
