Kyler Murray atrocious pick-six leaves Cardinals in 21-0 hole

Talk about an inexplicable decision.

The Los Angeles Rams had Arizona pinned deep in their territory and facing a third down.

Kyler Murray had gone 151 pass attempts without throwing a pick. He chose a bad time to execute poorly.

The Cardinals’ quarterback would have been sacked for a safety. Instead, he flung the ball and the Rams’ David Long was on the spot, picking it off and running 3 yards into the end zone.

The pick-six was the shortest in NFL postseason history.

The score after the PAT was 21-0 and the Cardinals were in trouble.

The pick-six came a couple of plays after Sean McVay successfully challenged a play that had been ruled a completion to A.J. Green.

McVay said Green did not possess the ball and review deemed him correct.

Murray threw another interception on the next Cardinals’ drive. Injured Rams DB Jordan Fuller loved it.
