Kyle Walker's wife Annie Kilner has had WAGs rushing to support her after outspoken Rebekah Vardy called her a "doormat" and said she was "playing the victim".
It comes after Annie's husband, Manchester City ace Kyle was filmed allegedly flashing his manhood and kissing another woman during a boozy night out in Vodka Revolution in Wilmslow, Cheshire.
Kyle, 32, was filmed pulling his trousers down to expose himself at the bar on Sunday evening which has since gone viral online.
But after the antics, Rebekah, 41, took aim at Annie, as she took to Instagram and posted: "The gift that keeps giving."
However, she has denied that her post was related to Kyle's antics over the weekend.
Following the dig, a source told the Mirror: "All of the other footballer's wives feel sorry for Annie and are shocked at Vardy's response.
"They have actually called Annie to say take no notice of Vardy, she is always trying to make it about her and get into the press by making trouble in other people's business.
"Rebekah of all people should know how difficult it can be married to a footballer and maybe she should remember to stay out of other footballers' wives' private lives."
Our source continued: "Look what happened last time, it cost her millions in a court case.
"Do yourself a favour Becky and keep your nose out of it."
On Thursday, Rebekah claimed her name was associated with the situation after sharing a news article using Michael Jackson's hit Smooth Criminal, with the lyrics 'Annie, are you okay? So, Annie, are you okay? Are you okay, Annie?', as a soundtrack.
She fumed: "Funny though isn't it that it's my name she wants to use rather than the people actually laughing at her for being a doormat?
"Art of deflection to a T… great at playing the victim is our Annie.
"I think she needs to focus with what's going on in her own life instead of trying to attack me by bringing me into her drama (laughing emoji).
"Believe me had it been about her I would have tagged her! She's obsessed… I'm literally tired of being nice to people with short memories.
"I've stayed silent while she's bashed me in the media made lies up about me in her little community like a group of playground bullies! Just leave me alone."
Just hours after Kyle's antics were exposed, Annie took to social media and shared a quote reading: "I think it's important to remember that no matter how good you are to people, it won’t make them good to you."
