The Baltimore Ravens suffered a tough AFC Championship loss to the Kansas City Chiefs by the final score of 17-10. Baltimore had no rhythm in the first half of the contest, and while the defense turned it around in the second part of the game, the offense couldn’t follow suit.
“I think we have that same mentality every year, no matter the personnel, whoever this or that. I think just being a Raven [means] coming in, working hard, grinding, [and] work for everything that you get. We came this far and got the No. 1 seed and all that stuff, [and] put ourselves in this position because we worked for it. So, back to square one again. [We’ll] do the same thing, and hopefully, next year, win this game and get to the Super Bowl.”
After the contest, safety Kyle Hamilton reflected on the year and looked ahead to the future. He said that it’s back to square one, and hopefully Baltimore will be back in the AFC Championship next year, although next time with a different result than on Sunday.
