Martin Compston got a sweet tribute from pal Kyle Falconer after the View singer was forced to miss a performance at his wedding because he got arrested.
Kyle pulled his old flatmate on to the stage at his Glasgow O2 gig last night (Sunday) and serenaded him to apologise for being absent on his big day in 2016.
Remembering the incident in front of a packed crowd, Same Jeans singer Kyle told fans he'd been unable to attend the Line of Duty star's marriage ceremony to now wife Tianna Flynn because he'd been drunk and disorderly on a flight from Glasgow to the Spanish city of Spain.
Kyle introduced Greenock-born Martin on to the stage to sing him a song that he and Tianna had as their first dance song when they tied the knot - called 'I Love You' - with Tianna watching on via FaceTime.
Before he got on the stage, Kyle told the audience that he was supposed to sing this song to them on their big day but he didn't in the end because he he got in trouble with police when the plane landed.
In June 2016, the flight was forced to stop in Nantes, France, for the Dundee rocker to be booted off after he shouted and swore at cabin crew and fellow passengers. French police restrained Falconer and took him off the plane after landing - meaning he didn't make it back in time to see his pal get married.
So the rocker decided to finally make it up to his pal and get him on the stage to sing to him and Tianna.
Martin rocked up on stage, clutching a pint and his phone as Kyle began to sing, when he asked his wife "Are ye greetin'?"
Martin then cheered and gave his pal a kiss before leaving the stage, chanting the song that's so close to his heart.
Fans were loving it and the Our House star even took to Instagram to thank his pal for the gesture. He said: "Singing our wedding song to my missus on FaceTime in front of that crowd. Love ye kid @kylefrancisfalc."
Ahead of the gig last night, the actor held a World Cup final party which Kyle and his wife Laura attended.
Kyle shared a selfie of them both with their mate and wrote: "Thanks to my good pal @mrmartincompston who hosted a nice pre show #WorldCup party for me and ma squad! Let’s lift the roof off the @o2academygla tonight #TheView ".
