Kurnool police recovers Rs 4 cr worth stolen and lost mobile phones

TIRUPATI: The Kurnool district police wing recovered 1,427 stolen/lost mobile phones worth approximately Rs 4 crore in the fifth phase of the district wing's special drive.

The Kurnool district police has so far recovered 7,154 stolen or lost mobile phones worth approximately Rs.16 crore in five phases.

The outgoing Kurnool SP Siddharth Kaushal handed over the recovered mobile phones to the rightful owners during a programme held on Saturday.

The district police wing had recovered two mobile phones from Saudi Arabia and handed it over to B Chandrasekhar Reddy of Nandyal and Subbirami Reddy of Allagadda.
