The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has launched a voluntary medical project to combat blindness and its causes in the city of Nyala, Sudan, in cooperation with the Al-Basar International Foundation.
KSrelief's voluntary medical team has checked 2,500 cases, performed 270 surgeries, and distributed 950 eyeglasses, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
This campaign is an extension of the center’s projects aimed at combating blindness, targeting families with low incomes in several countries, SPA said.
