The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has concluded a voluntary medical anti-blindness campaign and the diseases that cause blindness in the city of Maradi in Niger, in cooperation with the International Al-Basr Charitable Foundation, the Saudi Press Agency reported Sunday.
Since the start of the campaign, KSrelief's volunteer medical team has examined 6,236 beneficiaries, conducted 407 surgeries and distributed 1,000 eyeglasses and 5,272 therapeutic drugs, SPA said.
This campaign comes within the framework of relief and humanitarian projects related to the fight against blindness implemented by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the news agency added.
