YouTube star KSI is unlikely to face Tyron Woodley in his boxing return after the UFC legend leaked details of a potential fight contract.
The social media sensation, who last fought twice in one night in August when he knocked out rapper Swarmz and journeyman Luis Pineda, will announce his next boxing opponent on Saturday night in Texas. Woodley has long led a list of potential opponents for the Brit, but appears now to have been ruled out.
A spokesperson for Misfits Boxing, KSI's influencer fight promotion, told Mirror Fighting that Woodley is "washed" and asked why the Brit would fight someone who "keeps losing". This comes after the UFC star claimed he was "ghosted" once he was given a contract for a January 14 bout.
Woodley shared details of a contract he was allegedly given with a weight limit of 175lb for he and KSI to fight on January 14 at an unspecified location. The bout would have taken place over six rounds of three minutes, but it now seems that the chart-topping rapper is moving in a different direction.
"KSI, why would you offer me a fight vs you then bail?" Woodley asked in an Instagram post. "Why would you send me a contract to b**** out and take a lesser opponent? Why would you have my name in your mouth for two years and not step up? Why do a poll of 1million people, that all said fight me and you run? We need answers, now y'all go troll and and troll. Saturday he will announce he ran."

Other names in the running to face the Brit are Bellator MMA star Dillon Danis and undefeated boxer Joe Fournier, who most recently took on David Haye in an exhibition. The announcement will be made at Misfits' third event on Saturday, which is headlined by Deen The Great vs Walid Sharks at the Moody Center in Austin.
Danis is best known as a training partner of Conor McGregor's and is 2-0 as a professional MMA fighter after building a lengthy career in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Meanwhile, Fournier is an entrepreneur-turned-boxer who is 11-0 as a professional and once was ranked with the WBA at light-heavyweight, holding their international title.
