KSI has ranked Tommy Fury as the best influencer boxer in the world, ahead of himself and Jake Paul, after watching his fellow Brit defeat his rival.
The YouTube star just defeated Joe Fournier, albeit in controversial fashion, and believes that he is superior in skill to his long-time foe Paul. But he has stopped short of putting himself atop the list, insisting that he must beat Fury in their upcoming meeting at the end of the summer in order to consolidate his spot.
It is expected that shortly after Paul faces Nate Diaz on August 5, KSI will take on Fury either at the end of August or early in September after the pair squared off at the OVO Arena Wembley last night. And he feels that he will top the list once he gets that win.
Asked to list his top five during last night's episode of The MMA Hour, KSI replied that Fury was No.1, noting that "he beat Jake. If I'm being honest, I'm an honest guy, I haven't lost but I haven't fought Tommy." He then added himself in at No.2, with Paul at No.3 and Anthony Taylor at No.4.
Perhaps his most controversial pick was his last, when he opted to hand his brother Deji the fifth spot after his second consecutive Misfits win. "I have to go with my bro because I was very impressed with how he looked," KSI explained. "I was very impressed and these are all active fighters as well. I really was impressed by Deji."

KSI's most recent win over Fournier is currently under review by the governing body that put on Misfits Boxing fights, with officials checking to see if he knocked out his rival with an elbow. Footage appears to clearly show the elbow landing on his opponent's chin before he immediately drops and the fight is called off.
It is expected that a decision will be reached by 4pm on Friday, with a PBA statement yesterday (Monday) reading: "We have invited representations from each contestant and their representatives before the matter is reviewed in line with our rules and procedures.
"We are also seeking legal counsel as to the issues involved to ensure all matters are dealt with properly and fairly while seeking to uphold the integrity of boxing. Any decision or otherwise on the matter will be made available to the contestants on or before 4pm GMT Friday 19 May 2023. No further comment will be made until after that time."
