KSI net worth including £10million property empire and YouTube boxing earnings

YouTube star KSI will add to his estimated £21million net worth when he makes his return to the ring this Saturday after three years away from boxing.

KSI - real name JJ Olatunji - steps back into the squared circle when he faces rapper Swarmz and professional boxer Luis Alcaraz Pineda in the same night. The Brit hasn't fought since winning his professional debut against former rival turned business partner Logan Paul in November 2019 and he is hoping a win this weekend can set up an illustrious fight against fellow YouTube star Jake Paul.

When KSI decided to hang up his gloves after beating Paul three years ago, the Brit put all of his focus into YouTube, music and television. The decision paid off as KSI has become of the biggest influencers in the world, having multiple sources of income and being part of the immensely popular content creator group, Sidemen.

Going back to where it all started, KSI's first source of revenue come through his YouTube career. His main channel has almost 24million subscribers and has compiled just shy of six-billion views, with his second channel having almost 16million subscribers and over three-billion views. It's unclear how much KSI earns from YouTube as the platform does not release the earnings of its content creators.

KSI used his YouTube millions to build a property empire, worth an estimated £10million. Three years ago his property firm, Kilimanjaro Your Mum Ltd, spent £1.5million on new addresses to add to the £8million of housing stock he bought. Financial accounts for the firm that were published last October show total new assets of £550,000. Another of KSI's companies, The Throne Holdings, had a net worth of £4million last year.

The YouTube star's move into music led him to launch a record label called 'The Online Takeover' last February. The assets of the label were only worth £15,000 in financial statements published last April, but that's understandable given the label was only two months old at the time of filing. The first artist signed to KSI's label was 21-year-old Aiyana Lee, who featured on his song 'Killa Killa'.

KSI and Paul - who launched Prime Energy earlier this year - both earned $900,000 from the 2019 rematch but that figure likely ran into the millions after the fight's huge success on pay-per-view. The fight cost £9.95 in the UK and $19,99, meaning the fight grossed an absurd amount of money. Reports also stated their first meeting in 2018 made over £150million, with KSI refuting reports he made £40million for the white-collar clash.
