KSI issues immediate response to Jake Paul's defeat by Tommy Fury

KSI has suggested he would beat both Jake Paul and Tommy Fury after Paul's defeat last night.

Paul and Fury finally had the opportunity to settle their bitter feud in a huge event in Saudi Arabia. The YouTube star was looking to prove he was capable of defeating a 'real' boxer but was ultimately beaten by the ex-Love Island star, falling short on the judges scorecards by split-decision.

The 'Problem Child' had already planned out his year in expectation of beating Fury and wanted to fight Nate Diaz before targeting a YouTube mega-fight with KSI at the end of 2023. And if the fight does still take place, KSI issued a confident prediction during his first response to the event in a video on social media.

He initially tweeted: "Honestly I would destroy both Jake Paul and Tommy Fury." Then KSI released a first of two videos, in which he first screamed before laughing: "Ah don't mind me, just smoking on that Jake Paul pack. Honestly Jake Paul is trash, Tommy Fury is trash."

He then concluded in a fresh video: "Jake you see the problem with you man, the reason why you lost is because you weren't drinking Prime baby. I stay winning, I stay winning b****." KSI recently launched the drink with Paul's brother Logan and showed off his newest flavour in yet another dig to his rival.

It now remains to be seen if Paul will step in the ring with KSI as planned in December following his narrow defeat to Fury. The pair had proposed a winner-takes-all agreement for a showdown later this year, but the timeframe is now unclear with Paul needing to first avenge his defeat.

Despite the uncertainty, Paul responded himself to KSI's comments at the post-fight press conference insisting he will pursue the fight after his focus shifts away from redemption. Paul said: "I have to try and get this one back, but KSI is yet to fight a real opponent so we don't know his skill level. I just spoke to Tommy and he is ready to do it again. That will be the focus first and foremost to try and get that win.

"I have to go back and look at the tape and disect it, but I know when I am having an amazing night I can do it. I don't want to sit here and make excuses but I know I can be better. I don't know what it was but I didn't have that energy so I guess that happens. I felt like this in the first Tyron Woodley fight, that fight I wasn't able to pull it off. But it happens in the sport."
