KSI has accepted Joe Fournier's challenge after he put £10million on the line to buy his Misfits Boxing promotion ahead of their fight.
YouTube boxer KSI will face 40-year-old 'boxing billionaire' Fournier in his latest exhibition fight as the pair headline Misfits Boxing 7 at the OVO Wembley Arena on May 13. Fournier is unbeaten as a professional with most of his wins coming on the regional circuit in the Dominican Republic. He suffered his first boxing defeat in his last outing as he was decisively beaten by former two-weight world champion David Haye in September 2021.
Fournier has lived up to his nickname by offering to buy's KSI Misfits Boxing promotion for £10million before they step in the ring to face each other. The 40-year-old insisted the brand will lose 10 times its value after his fight against KSI and he also offered to buy the YouTuber's drinks brand Prime Energy, which he owns alongside former opponent Logan Paul.

"I'm telling you, I'm going to make him an offer to buy Misfits right now," Fournier said. "£10million, sell me Misfits now because after I knock him out it's going to be worth £100,000. You might as well do the deal now and give me the ownership. Just sell me the company and may as well sell me the drinks brand too. We'll call it 'After his Prime' and then I can own it."
KSI founded Misfits Boxing alongside his manager Mams Taylor and promoters Kalle and Nisse Sauerland two years ago, with the promotion since becoming the leader of influencer boxing. The YouTube star believes Fournier's offer of £10m is very low for the promotion, but accepted it whilst vowing to leave his rival "sleeping" on the floor after their fight.
"Wow, I mean £10million is pretty low for the price of Misfits. I think it's worth way more than £10million, but if he wants to put that up then I'm down. For me money isn't the reason why I do this, for me it's all about legacy. It's about showing the world that a guy who started in his bedroom is able to do all these crazy things 10 years later," KSI said.
"It's about showing my audience what it takes for all the hard work and dedication. I didn't start out with talent, people like to label me as talented but no, you can see where I started from. I want to keep pushing to see how far I can go, if he wants to put £10million on the line then let's do it. I just know the outcome, it's going to be him on the floor sleeping."
