Kris Jenner's holiday-scented cleaning products are an unexpected mood booster – I'm not a holiday person, but these soaps instantly put me in a festive headspace

Kris Jenner.

If you enjoy subtle holiday decorating, this one's for you. I'm no Grinch, but traditional seasonal decorating can sometimes feel like too much effort, too much cost, and too much cheese for too little payoff. Kris Jenner's holiday-themed cleaning products subvert all of these problems.

I've previously written about how Kris upgrades her Christmas decor using her Safely holiday collection, but I wasn't sure if it would work for me. So, I ordered three sets of the dish soap, hand soap, and room spray sets to try it out. After a week of using the products, I have only positive things to say. I'm in the mood for Christmas, have a lifted mood, and my dishes have never been cleaner.

My cheerfully packed cleaning supplies arrived in sets of three, each containing one of Jenner's limited edition holiday scents: Cranberry Holly, Forest Pine, and Gingerbread Chai. For my experiment, it was important to me that I was testing all of the scents at the same time to determine their holistic impact. I placed a gingerbread chai hand soap in the bathroom, a forest pine hand soap by the kitchen sink, and used the Cranberry Holly dish soap to wash all of my dishes for the week. I used each of the room sprays intermittently in my living room, especially during my work-from-home days.

I am a huge home fragrance person, so it makes sense that holiday decorating that just revolves around scents was very effective for me. The first scent I tried was the gingerbread chai, and the warm, cinnamony fragrance made me feel instantly in the mood for holiday cookies. That 'it's Christmas,' feeling every time I washed my hands. I also highly recommend this combination approach. It allowed me to have a different kind of holiday cheer in each space in my house, and I liked the layering of the varied fragrances. Especially if you are someone who likes the joy of Christmas but doesn't want to deal with the clutter, I think this is a great way to integrate seasonal cheer

I expected the pine soap to be the most 'on the nose' holiday, but I would actually be happy to use this smell in my house year-round. As opposed to traditional Christmas candles, it's a bit more masculine and grounded. The biophilic nature of this scent was great for boosting my mood this week, I especially loved a spritz of the room spray whenever I was feeling a bit tired during work from home. It also got me in the headspace of preparing for the holidays, prompting me to start shopping for Christmas presents this week.

My favorite that I will definitely buy again after my supply runs out is the Cranberry Holly scent. Though I loved the packaging, I filled my Simple Human Liquid Soap Dispenser to save space on my counter. It's fresh and fruity and much more elevated than I'd expect from a holiday scent. I really liked using it as a dish soap because the scent permeated through my kitchen while I was using it. The most important part of dish soap is that it's effective at cleaning dishes, and everything was sparkling after I used this soap. Again, it could be easily used year-round without fear of being too Christmassy.

Whether you are an avid Christmas decorator looking for a way to elevate your decor or a hesitant decorator looking to integrate decor subtly, this Kris Jenner-approved method is a great place to start.
