Kris Boyd feels Rangers still have plenty of business to do both in and out of Ibrox with the transfer window closing this week.
The Light Blues have snapped up as many as 12 new signings this summer with Derek McInnes creating a new look squad to try and compete in the Scottish Premiership.
Kevin Kelsy, the Portland Timbers striker, is also closing in on a near-£10million deal to replace the injured Youssef Chermiti on the front line. But for Boyd, the Light Blues' squad is becoming bloated.
He feels Rangers should clear house and allow up to seven players to depart the club this summer to ensure McInnes has the prime number of players to work with.
"If there's not been any bids for Raskin, get him in your team because he's your best midfielder by a country mile," he told Sky Sports after McInnes revealed there had been no fresh offers for the Belgian.
"Rangers must have over 30 players - it's not sustainable. They need to get five, six, seven out at least before the window closes.
"There are other areas of the team that need strengthened other than the forward areas. They're still shy of someone who can connect the midfield and be creative."
