KRIS BOYD is full of confidence that his former club can get over the finishing line and secure the Europa League trophy on Wednesday night.
Giovanni van Bronkchorst's team are up against Frankfurt in the showpiece final in Seville and the team is set to jet out to Southern Spain today.
Boyd is already soaking up the sun on punditry duties for Sky Sports and ahead of the huge game, the former Ibrox man is confident of a positive result.
He said: "It's great for Scottish football - I'm not sure everyone in Scotland will be supporting Rangers!
"But Scottish football as a whole is in a great place right now and none more so than Rangers coming here to represent in a European football.
"You've got to take (finances) in context as well, because when you look at the clubs who have been dominating in Europe it's difficult for any Scottish team to compete.
"But you've got to give Rangers a lot of credit for getting the results that they've had so far in Europe. They've got one more step to go and it'd be an unbelievable achievement.
"When you look at the teams Rangers have overcome, they've had to do it the hard way and they won't be fazed by Eintracht Frankfurt."
