Smirking Kris Boyd i nsists Motherwell fans won't be complaining about the referee after defeat to Rangers in a swipe at Celtic.
Nick Walsh was the man in the middle at Fir Park as he sent off Leon Balogun in the first half of the Premiership showdown.
Juhani Ojala avoided a sending off for a similar challenge on Scott Wright minutes later, and the whistler would away the visitors a penalty after Bevis Mugabi's foul on Fashion Sakala.
Following the win over Motherwell, Boyd couldn't resists a dig at the Premiership leaders.
Bobby Madden was the main talking point coming out of the Scottish Cup defeat for Celtic at Hampden to Rangers.
However, Boyd insists the Fir Park fans won't have a similar complaint on Walsh.
When discussing some of Walsh's controversial calls, Boyd said: "Listen, we all know that it's a difficult job. I'm sure there will be no Motherwell fans blaming Nick Walsh for the defeat."
Fellow pundit James McFadden cut in stating: "You are the one blaming him."
However Boyd hit back: "I'm not blaming him at all, I thought he was excellent."
