KRIS BOYD suffered a live TV nightmare tonight as he attempted to wind up fellow pundit Anton Ferdinand.
The Ibrox hero was in the Sky Sports News studio to cover the club’s Europa League semi-final against RB Leipzig.
Ferdinand was also in the pundit hotseat as he provided updates from West Ham’s clash with Frankfurt in the other last four match.
Live on air, Boyd wound up Ferdinand as the Hammers were getting beat 2-1, he said: "The only thing that will want to hear the full time whistle quicker than Gio van Bronckhorst will be Anton Ferdinand's neck.
"Is that screen on the roof that you're watching there tonight, my friend?"
Just moments later Boyd was left red faced as Rangers conceded to Leipzig in the 85th minute through Angelino.
Gers now have it all to do at Ibrox next week and Boyd reacted: "Ohhh, it's a goal.
"I shouldn't carry on, it's a goal from the edge of the box, Angelino, 84th minute.

"I told you he wanted to hear the full time whistle!
"A corner comes in, it's headed out and Angelino volleys it past Allan McGregor.
"Rangers have defended so well for the majority of the night."
