There was a time when the Japanese manufacturers wrote the rulebook for motorcycles. They figured out how to build machines that were fast, dependable, easy to live with, and tough enough to rack up six-digit odometer readings without throwing a tantrum. Then Europe came along with a different idea. Keep the performance, but pile on the electronics. Suddenly, motorcycles had ride modes, lean-sensitive ABS, semi-active suspension, radar, and enough computing power to make your old flip phone blush.
Now China is borrowing that same playbook.
