Kourtney Kardashian's style dubbed 'cheap and ill-fitting' by fans ahead of wedding

Kourtney Kardashian has been questioned over her more recent fashion choices, with some fans having speculated that her fiancé Travis Barker is responsible for such.

It comes amid the couple preparing to get married in the village of Portofino in Italy, surrounded by loved ones - with them set to tie the knot in a historic castle later today.

The bride-to-be, 43, and her family have been spotted in the area in recent days ahead of the nuptials, with Kourtney having worn a gothic-looking gown for one occasion.

She's become known for wearing edgier and darker looks since beginning her relationship with Travis, 46, - with fans having commented on such amid the wedding.

One fan shared a photo on Reddit yesterday that they claimed was the last time Kourtney had been to Portofino, with it understood to date back to a trip she went on in 2018.

It's understood that she visited the village that year with her then-boyfriend Younes Bendjima, now 29, whilst still together - with her seen wearing a two-piece blue suit.

The person who shared the throwback wrote alongside it: "Last time Kourtney took a boyfriend to Portofino…this was peak Kourt in terms of vibes and fashion."

In response, several people suggested that her style evolution - which wasn't praised by those on the platform - had been the result of her relationship with Travis.

One person wrote: "I blame Travis - he made her so cringe." Another said: "Her clothes now look cheap & ill-fitting." Whilst a third wrote: "I hate everything about her style right now."

Others suggested the "goth look" isn't an issue, but rather the execution. One said: "She can make it look way more stylish and put together. It all just looks so cheap and tacky now."

Another person said that they don't mind her embracing an edgier style, but commented that it's the way such attire is fitted that's an issue. They said they're "ill fitted" on Kourtney.

They further commented on the post: "It's a common thing when you're with someone to reflect each other but why is no one telling her to size up/get things tailored?"

Another said Kourtney "morphs" into whoever she's dating, adding that Younes was in the fashion industry but Travis "dresses like a weird gothic tramp and she follows suit."

And although it's unclear which specific looks such commentators were referring too, others on social media gave an indication that they weren't keen on a Dolce & Gabbana look.

Similar disappointed was shared in response to photos uploaded to Instagram by Kourtney earlier, which showed her in a gothic D&G that featured imagery of the Virgin Mary on it.

One fan responded in the comments section: "She's changed her whole entire style and it's just not her. All the black stuff she wears etc." Another said: "He's changed your own style."

"She went from boho organic lifestyle with very earthy tones [which] made her look so young and vibrant to this weird wannabe gothic stripper vibe. Not cute at all," said one fan.

Another similarly suggested that they aren't keen on her new style, with them writing in the comments section: "I really loved the bohemian vibes she used to have."

Other fans on social media, such as on Reddit, however have defended Kourtney's style choices. One wrote: "As long as she is comfortable and happy that's what matters."

The Mirror approached Kourtney, Travis and D&G for comment.
