Kourtney Kardashian's $15m mansion destroyed by storm as flash foods hit California

Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker face a hefty repair bill after their $15million beach mansion was hit by flash flooding – as storms continue in California.

The stunning Santa Barbara home, which they had bought just months ago, is now a muddy mess after chaotic weather caused devastation.

Pictures show the damage to the newlywed couple's four-bed property as water clearly reached the home's garage – leaving behind a huge clean-up operation.

Crews have reportedly been tasked with clearing the damage as heavy mud and water remained outside their home – situated in an area popular with celebrities.

Famous-faced neighbours living in the surrounding area include George Lucas and actors Kevin Costner, Ashton Kutcher, and Mila Kunis.

Kourtney and Travis bought the 2,400 square foot home just last year, including two buildings and an electric charging station – damage to which is unknown.

Their ruined home, seen in pictures obtained by The U.S. Sun, would have also come with an outdoor shower and a barbeque, where damage is also expected.

It comes after Ellen DeGeneres took to Twitter to show just how bad things were getting in nearby Montecito, with over 10,000 people being told to evacuate.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are also among a number of celebrities to have faced evacuation orders due to the threat of mudslides near their home.

Fierce winter storms have pounded the area of California, leaving officials with a great amount of concern for those living in nearby areas.

Presenter Ellen shared a video of the horrendous conditions currently. Seen with her grey sweater hoody up as she said: "So, Montecito is under complete evacuation."

She explained: "The entire town. This is the five year anniversary from the fire and mudslides that killed so many people and, er, people lost their homes and lives.

"This is crazy that on the five year anniversary we are having unprecedented rain. This creek next to our house never flows ever."

She continued to urge people to be "nicer to Mother Nature", saying: "Mother Nature is not happy with us. Stay safe everybody."

In the storm Ellen referred to, 23 people lost their lives and over 100 homes were destroyed. The fire department told all residents on Monday to "leave now".
