Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker managed to have three weddings but the main event was a spectacular affair that took place in Portofino, Italy.
Nearly a year on from the couple’s big day the 43-year-old has shared some unseen snaps from and revealed the planning gave her ‘chills’.
She also admitted she and the Blink-182 drummer, 46, knew how they wanted their nuptials to look like after watching a music video before they’d even got engaged.
After a drunken trial run in Las Vegas, which saw the two get hitched (although not officially) in front of an Elvis impersonator for $199, they set about organising their dream wedding on the Italian Riviera.
Sharing the photos on Instagram with her 215 million followers, Kourtney wrote: “One year ago, we had our first in-person meeting with @dolcegabbana to start the design process of my wedding dress!!
“The first inspiration for my dress was when Travis and I were watching Guns N’ Roses November Rain video one night before we were even engaged, and we said to each other “this has to be our wedding.”
“She was wearing a short dress and I thought to myself “I need a short dress!” I had more visions inspired by some 1990s campaigns of Monica Bellucci shot by Helmut Newton for Blumarine.”
The mum of three went on: “When we knew our wedding was going to be in Portofino, it also influenced the vibes and feeling of the dress.
“When @dolcegabbana suggested putting Travis’s head tattoo of the Virgin Mary on the handmade lace veil with the words from his tattoo: family, loyalty, respect underneath, I got chills and knew how special that felt.”
Kourtney ended the soppy post by thanking everyone who helped make her ‘dream come true’.
The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star and her rocker husband have been delighting fans with their very public displays of affection since they went official in January 2021.
Affectionately known as ‘Kravis’, the couple got engaged just a few months later when Travis got down on one knee on a beach in Santa Barbara, California surrounded by roses.
The Poosh founder confirmed the news via Instagram, writing “Forever,” along with a photo of the romantic proposal.
Prior to the Portofino wedding, Kourtney and Travis made things official with a low-key ceremony reportedly with just bodyguards and key witnesses in attendance.
The bride went down the non-traditional route as she rocked a short wedding dress and the duo even matched in the same-coloured shoes.
Not only did they only invite a limited number of close friends and family, they even drove off after the wedding in a gorgeous vintage car.
The real nuptials come weeks after the couple fooled fans into thinking they had tied the knot in Las Vegas.
Kourtney and Travis caused a frenzy of excitement when they rocked up at a venue in Sin City and swapped vows, with the reality star admitting she was ‘black out’ drunk.
However, the couple didn't have a wedding certificate, meaning the wedding had not been official.
